Most notable has been to continuing strike wave in China and massive, widespread, militant protests against a proposed increase in fuel prices in Indonesia which appear to have been successful.

First I apologise for the lack of a summary for March - this wasn't because the class struggle went on holiday in East Asia, but because I didn't have internet for most of the month, so there was too much to catch up on. This is also why I haven't been able to find so many pictures this month - I just havem't had time.

While revolutions have been kicking off in North Africa this month, many in China have been following events online despite attempts to block "Egypt" from searches (http://t.co/tbL2O0g , http://t.co/FUNoTmF , http://t.co/blKOCbE , http://t.co/PPvGXPn).

This month has seen strikes in Bangladesh, Indonesia, South Korea, and Vietnam , while in the Philippines the president forced the cancellation of a strike by flight crew (although in the end they appear to have come out best for the moment.

Workers' struggles in China (June 2010)

This month the strike wave that started in May has continued, as has the governments relatively hands-off, even supprtive approach, and the western media's confused approach. Some think it's a good thing as it will help China switch to a domestically orientated economy, saving the world economy and magically bringing democracy to China a la Solidarinosc.
