Pakistan: repression at a demonstration in Kashmir.

At a demonstration last week ended in violence with police making scores of arrests and injuring large numbers of people.
The demonstration was called by the Poonch Action Front and was aimed at criticising the failure of a rebuilding programme that was supposedly set in place after an earthquake in October 2005. This follows from a strike by teachers in late February and widespread strikes amongst public workers in ealry February.
