Occupation of Sorbonne University continues

Eyewitness account just posted on Paris Indymedia.

"Sorbonne, 23h19 Friday 10th March
700 students occupy the Sorbonne, while 500 demonstrators show support in front of the building at the place de la Sorbonne. Behind them, there are armoured riot vehicles and several hundreds of CRS (french riot police). The police force surrounds the district. The Sorbonne is massively occupied, and its unlikely that the prefect and the vice-chancellor will order the police to raid the building. The main accesses to the occupied spaces have been heavily barricaded. Outside, the mood is one of joyous revolt: a brass band fills the district with music, whilst a fire lights up the area."
