Freedom Background Part One: Unwilling editor

When I first started Freedom, it was with a full set of people working on it. T was in the final few weeks of his stint at the paper, but John and Jimmer seemed to have no plans to leave, and around them was a small coterie of people writing, helping with the accounts, and generally hanging around.

As some of the people on the boards will be aware, I lead a secret double life outside these boards as the main editor (oh alright, pretty much only editor) writer and general production person of Freedom newspaper.

Meetings which don't drag

They're great! Get everything done quickly, explain what needs to be explained, sort out what needs to be done by who, and get down the pub for a chat and an Adnams (I recommend Broadside, and if you can't get it you're clearly in some way deficient).

Spose I'd best put something on here to, y'know, make it look a bit more full.

I was in the pub the other day, and was listening to a New Labourite from Sunderland (I was mildly intrigued by this) arguing politics with a guy who sounded like his brain had been mixed up with a Sun Says columnist's.
