Le Figaro is tonight reporting figures that show that the movement of student occupations is continuing to grow ahead of tomorrows day of demonstrations.

They have published the following figures for the number of universities occupied:

49 - according to the Ministry for National Education
60 - according to the Associated Free Press
67 - according to UNEF (student union body)
