OK drew - have alerted the AF's national secretary who'll sort this out right away. Not sure why this happened but sorry for delay in getting back to you on the enquiry.
Joining AF
Sorry, but we genearlly don't take members who can't play an active part in the life of the organisation. That's a bit hard if you are in Indonesia. However, if you like our politics and are able to set up a group there, we will do all we can to help and of course you can join up with us through the International of Anarchist Federations.
There are already some interesting initiatives like Jaringan Anti-Otoritarian (Anti-Authoritarian Network) ...

Did you know about this already indolibcomer? PM me and we can talk more.
Hi, i too sent an email to the AF in Jan about membership. I recieved literiture like aspect of anarchy & resistance and told i would be contacted soon if still interested in membership. I sent an email to the joinaf email address and the birmingham one but have still had no reply. I appreciate that there might be a backlog or people are busy but its been 3 or 4 months since the AF info came.
Im not whiney im just interested in doing more than i am at present.
Hi - I'll send a message to our national secretary and get him to PM you. Sorry about the delay. We're normally a lot better. Sometimes mail does get caught in our spam filter. If you don't hear soon, send an email to manchester{at}af-north.org and we'll try and sort things out.
I've just sent an email to the address and received two emails immediately. One thanking me for emailing, from Afed, the other from a 'Mail delivery system' stating my message couldn't reach an address which is apparently that of the AF national secretary. What should I do next?
The system is set up properly now, but thanks for the advice Jeff.
It basically occurred because we changed our secretaries and their structure within the AF. Somehow the email addresses didn't quite keep track. However, emails should now get through. If they don't it'll be because of the spam filter and either little brother or myself can help on here.

Hi.
I applied to join AF online - back in April - and was told that someone would contact me soon. I don't know if the person has been very busy of late, but I'm still waiting to be contacted. Should I try the online request again or try a different approach?
