I think looking at the decline of anarchist print media as a symptom of specifically anarchist malaise is a bit misleading, since even print media backed by multi-million pound concerns is in decline. To get a balanced picture you'd need to look at the corresponding rise of things like libcom, novaramedia, Occupied Times etc (though sure, none of these are publications of irl organisations).

Any idea how you'd go about comparing the audience of these? I wouldn't be surprised if it's significantly grown with the reach of web media tbh.

I like the combination of print and web media because hopefully, with the publication of magazines etc it's possible to give a sense that there are people that could actually be met in the flesh. But web media has obvious benefits too.
