The original edition was definately worth a read despite some anti-organisational tendencies - distributed a handful of copies to a number of close anarchist-communist comrades but I fear it was too much for them as eternal optimists and I got very little feedback.
Maybe I will re-read it if any debate emerges here.
I cannot say I think much of the 'Species Being' publication (recomended by a friend) though -seemed frankly pretentious! Struggled to identify anymore than a few isolated nuggets of any interest.
I should add that the 2009 edition is somewhat revised with a couple of new chapters, an index and all that. And is available here I have a couple of review copies if anyone wishes to undertaken such an abject task.
