Moved: this was in Current Affairs, but it wasnt attached to any other of the threads on the events around this. And its not a discussion, or if it is it is very badly phrased.

I would have thought the post concerned 'current affairs'..

A report from an action in Ireland against the Iraq War that saw 4 people arrested..

maybe it may provoke a discussion or at the very least brought the action out to a wider circle..

suppose it wouldnt be considered current affairs then so!

Same kinda thing, it was in current affairs, no interest. IMO this is a lot to do with how things are phrased. The internet is overflowing with information, for people to take an interest in your thing you need to give them a reason to - ask them a question, ask for opinions, make them feel the can contribute something, Rather than just posting up links which most people wont be bothered to click on - they dont know what the events were for example.
