'Charles Reeve' interview with Venezuelan anarchists

A translation of a discussion between the French anarchist 'Charles Reeve' and members of the El Libertario group in Caracas has been posted on the Commune website.

The comrades argue that Chavismo is a left face for neo-liberalism, and that so-called gains of the revolution such as co-operatives mask attacks on workers' rights and increasing casualisation. The project is one of modernisation by a technocratic section of the ruling class, and it is a mistake even to call the régime "left" and the opposition "the right".
