Submitted by Red Marriott on September 22, 2016

The last drink before the gallows, home to the “dangerous classes” and their removal for Google and their ilk, squats and occupations from 1946 to the 12 Bar, the strange remains of Little Compton Street, and other things, not all gin-related.

Next Week; Thursday 29 September 2016 at 18:00–20:00

- starts at St Giles churchyard - 60 St Giles High Street, London WC2H 8LG, probably end at the Angel pub in St Giles High St.

RM, calling a momentary truce, is there someone in the know guiding and talking the tour? I went on an East London tour with Battlescarred which was fab but wouldn't have been much cop without his narration.
Also, considering your view of me would I even be welcome?

I have nothing to do with the walk except to pass on the details. The people who let me know about it have done gd history walks themselves and reckon it will be gd, that's all I can say. But I doubt there'll be a bouncer on the door so you should be OK.

Thanks. If I'm up to it I'll try to tag along.
