How many responses have you had to the invitation, Sloth? I know that the ICC, Internationalist Perspective, Spikeymike have said they will be there, and I expect the CWO and (ex-?) CBG as well. Any others?

A few more. I think the Commune have confirmed they're coming, and we're still waiting for a few other organisations to get in touch, as well as having expressions of interest from some individuals who haven't said for definite if they're coming (and as you say, Spikeymike, who's said he definitely is). We might even have to start bringing in chairs from the rest of the building at this rate... it's certainly looking likely to be the biggest MDF ever.

Let's hope that translates into a good discussion.

More chairs next time! Congratulations to the organisers. Plan for 100 for the follow up meeting!

I think there were 21 or 22 of us. I don't have the notes but I think that's about right.

Those included comrades from The Commune, the Communist Workers' Organisation, International Communist Current, and Internationalist Perspective, as well as comrades from the former Communist Bulletin Group. All these organisations and former organisations made presentations.

There were also participants of the Exeter Discusssion Group, who didn't make a formal presentation on behalf of their group, and most of the regular MDF participants.

Also, some new people turned up, some of whom found out about the meeting through the notices on Libcom, so thanks to Libcom for giving us the opportunity to publicise the forum, it certainly helped both in terms of making the MDF more widely known but also in actually organising the meeting, making texts available etc.

Correction: 25 attended. In many ways, it wasn't the numbers - it was the fact that historic animosities have (almost) been put to one side for the sake of the future, and a new era may well be ushered in. But I'm still holding my breath. How about all you others?

Is there any recording(video/audio) or notes that could be published to here so we can have a look at what was discussed?

Or a summary or something?

We will be publishing a report on this meeting very soon. We're nearly finished preparing it.
