Vic Vanni of the SPGB's Glasgow branch passed away.
Vic was a treasure house of anecdotes.
He was in the 50s, a member of the Labour Party Young Socialists where he became friends with Paul Foot who was working in Glasgow as a cub-reporter with the Daily Record and the two them would attend the SPGB meetings so it wasn't Tony Cliff that introduced Paul Foot to the state-capitalism analysis.
