anyone know who futuretech is? 3 years and only 33 posts...the latest one being of questionable nature...no offense furturetech but its a bit sketch for a site that is probably considered a threat by most states.

The union Solidarity has been around for a while now so I don't see why it needs a public launch. Oh well.
Unfortunately for the BNP they are having this event on the same day as the STWC national demo in London. Hopefully there will be plenty of people around willing to intervene in the meeting to have a polite discussion about solidarity and the incapability of fascism and nationalism with it. Walking through London waving anti-war placards doesn't really do it for me anyway.
What the union essentially proposes is old corporatist economics of workers' and bosses running companies jointly. Class collaboration pure and simple.
It isn't just a BNP front though, there are other fascist groups involved too. The guy leading it is also the head of the neo-fascist International Third Position that sad bunch of losers everyone hoped had disintegrated. Possibly trading as ‘England First’ these days.

Futuretech just to clarify, Libcom isn’t run from the Freedom Bookshop, if that’s what you think, and people are trying to help you so knock off the BNP comparisons. If you announce an event on Libcom the police know about it – they read the site - so a) you won’t be able to do any direct action cos they’ll be there to stop you b) you’ll most likely get arrested, thus removing you from antifascist work altogether.

given the attention they will get from actual unions for this stunt - and the connection between the TUC and UAF - there would very likely be a mainstream demo at wherever the location.
