Russia - police crackdown on Antifa

Submitted by Eastern Barbarian on 31 December, 2006 - 15:19.

In recent days Russian FSB (secret police) began serious repression directed at militant anti-fascists in Russia. In St.Petersburg 3 people received administrative ban on leaving the city, as they have ongoing trials against them for militant actions against nazi menace.

In Moscow sudeenly all old investigations and cases against anti-fascists started again. In cases previously closed suddenly new "proofs" appeared. 5 people are accused of "forming and participating in criminal organization" which is very heavy charge. Currently all of them are on the run.

Help is needed! Russian ANTIFAs need our support! More information soon!

There's a Nazi menace in Russia? I thought the main menace was Vladimir "Stalin without the moustache" Putin.

The fascist movement in Russia is pretty big, pretty active and fucking violent. They also frequently have tacit support from the Police/court system.

Much solidarity to the folks over there, I can't even begin to comprehend how hard the work is...
