let's face it, the thread was bound to fail because at best it relied on middle-class self-help radicalism ('c'mon lads, we'll surely get full franchise if we beat them at their own game' is what the message basically was) dependent on a particular image of "nazi libcom admins." When said nazi admins made some concessions, the 500, as it is popularly known in folksongs and the like, started to lose some of its mass appeal (again, the limitations of reformism are all to obvious), only to be then dealt a final blow by the sheer brutality of the libcom oligarchy.
