scanning that it seems fair enough;

Quote:
Stalls, leafleting, petitions, public meetings, CWU speakers in branches - a vibrant campaign of solidarity will strengthen the position of those on the post who want to continue the fight. (For some examples of support groups, see here and here.) For the same reason, we need the biggest possible turn out for the demonstration in London on 21 August.

do we? why? Big demo's nowdays never increase support, just give supporters and lefties the chance to *do something*. All means have a demo, but it is so often used to divert attention from lack of action elsewhere...

in think loal demo's at PO workplaces would be better, let the posties know they have support for action and the bosses know they have problems.

I think I'll probably still go on it though.

A passable article, nothing we didn't know though, and why we need to focus on a CWU rganised national meeting in london in the middle of the day on a tuesday that is so obviously aimed at full timers and at pacifying the liberal left is a little bit of a mystery. I don't see how having a big national demo or two helps builds local support groups at all, i would have thought we'd had enough evidence of the weakness of that excuse for a strategy based around a-b marches in the last few years, Also i think admins are being a little bit too tolerant here letting someone continually spam the boards in this fashion.

Also sacha, aren't you supposed to be defending your organisation? http://libcom.org/forums/news/workers-liberty-materials-bulletin-postal-strikes-starting-today?page=2
