This board

Should we close it - and replace it with an Antifa one?

Letting Antifa do the moderating of course? Mr. T

hey - actually paul mentioned first setting up an anti-fascist forum as part of these forums, ditto prison stuff and we declined at the time cos we didn't think there was a demand. with the forums now busier we think there is, so we would be happy to move them into the main forums if people like?

We can rename this forum ( http://libcom.org/forums/index.php?c=22 ) groups and issues.

Yeah an Antifa board would be good.

I agree, it should be an Antifa board.

As far as I was aware Antifa said they didn't want a board originally for security reasons.

We could set one up if antifa make a request based on a decision the group has made collectively.

Alternatively we can set up paul's original idea of a general anti-fascist topic/issue board in the main part of the forums; this only needs the agreement of CW people since this is currently your board.

As no one in CW has disagreed with moving the board - go ahead.

I will press with Antifa them taking the board on however, the security reason is a red herring, the forums could be used for discussion and debate, nothing else.

Done. Have added link to antifa on this page:

http://libcom.org/forums/index.php?c=22

but think would be best to do an intro thread like the main forums for now, say antifa is "supported" by the forum, with a link say?

Links to this are being added to No Pasaran and our main Organise forum, and we can add a feed to No pasaran of lastest topics. A feed from it to the antifa site as well could be sorted

making it an 'antifa' board is not a good idea IMVHO;

surely that would associate posters with the organisation, like people posting in the AF forum are with the AF.

I might want to discuss something posted here, but i wouldn't want people to think i'm in Antifa.

...In fact i think the ideas nuts for loads of very obvious reasons, which inevitably means i am wrong about something; will PM paul about this now.
