What is your favourite track title?
Hi peeps
I don't think we have done this one yet.
Obscure tracks from odd albums are cool on this thread - or mainstream - whatever you fancy - but please cite who it is by for those who might not know and the album title if this is applicable.
I KNOW it is
a) pretentious and
b) cliched
but my fave atm is still:
"Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict". (Pink Floyd - Ummagumma. This 1969 LP also has rather fetching b/w pics of a young Roger Waters and a young David Gilmour on the inside sleeve. I am not kidding - a young Roger Waters=John., a young David Gilmour=Jef.
).
So what is your favourite (track title that is not out of J and J!)
Love

Oh and "There's No Lights On The Christmas Tree Mother They're Burning Big Louie Tonight" by the Sensational Alex Harvey band.

Hehe, I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think it's that striking a resemblance in either case.
One of my favourites, at least, is Promentalshitbackwashpsychosis Enema Squad (The Doo Doo Chasers) by Funkadelic. Fah Daa Bah Dee Bah Doo Bomph by Mother Funk Conspiracy is a good one too. Makes more sense if you hear the track though I guess.
Theres No Business Like Propa Rungleclotted Mashup Bizznizz
Anything by Half-man/Half-Biscuit.
The following Don Caballero track names strike my fancy
1) In the Absense of Strong Evidence to the Contrary One May Step Out of the Way of the Charging Bull
2) Delivering the Groceries at 138 Beats Per Minute
3) Details on How to Get ICEMAN on Your License Plate
4) Let's Face it Pal, You Didn't Need That Eye Surgery
in a similar math rock vein, i choose 'Your Street Vs. Wall Street' by Oxes
The future of Nazi Jazz - la boom
Nothing is lost or ever can be my science friend - the liars
neither are pârticularly good songs, but I only got them for the names.
I hate hardcore because Alan told me it was cool.
It's got to be Hari-Krishna stomp wagon (fuck Led Zeppelin) by The Flaming Lips.
For some reason I quite like "Shoot the Boss" by Monkey Mafia, but it probably don't count 'cause it's an album title rather than a track title.
"Levitating Orchards" by Sun City Girls.

Yeah it can count!! I'll give you that one no probs!!
There are some great selections on here peeps!!
I have another one from the Floyd - a track from "Obscured by Clouds."
It is called "The Gold It's In The......"
Fab!
