Better still, we should have a knife-fighting monkey tournament.
Cheers red, for cheering up my day!!! ROFLMAO!

Enrager.net Social @ The Anarchist Bookfair:
6pm @ The Duck & Dive (First Floor) - ULU - 27th Nov.
Also don't forget to come visit our stall, Lower Hall, First Floor
Yeah...doesn't look like I'm going to the Social now.
Yeah...doesn't look like I'm going to the Social now.
Heh heh, got a date with your "girlfriend", "Jess" have you?
Excerpt from genuine conversation that took place today:
Jess: what time's the Bookfair finish??
Me: I dunno...the Enrager's social's at 6pm I think.
J: Oh yeah...I'm not going to that, I like the idea of people thinking I don't exist
M: *sighs and awaits inevitable jokes*
Come up and say hi if you know me by face on Saturday so I can prove her existence.
Don't know where to post this so ...
There will be a talk in 3D between 4 and 5.00 on South American Anarchism
A Chilean comrade from the anarcho-communist organisation CUAC - recently renamed the OCL - will give a talk on revolutionary struggle in latin america, the development of an anarchist movement at the heart of the popular struggles in that region, and how the tradition of anarchism has adopted a new form in the 21st century
The speaker who is a friend of mine has pretty good English and spent the summer touring anarchist groups and struggles in the region. So there should be lots of first hand info from an area where the anarchist movement is growing rapidly.
URLs for a couple of articles he has written in English follow

Shite, I knew we were meant to do something today. Revol wont get out the fucking shower. He's such a prick. He's singing about how he's outside and against the unions
I hate him. Mao more than ever.
:red:
Yeah sorry I missed this. The security were being fash and not letting anyone in the D&D when I got there. Damn police state.
I think I met a few people outside with Jack briefly at some point. Hope you all had good times. I finally bought the ((edditted to remove embarrasing reference to punk)), lots of Solfed literature (thread to follow), and plenty of books/pamphlets and free newspapers. I turned down the opportunity to make £50 delivering post to travel to London and spend £60.
Also, the community organising meeting was obviously the best part of the day.

yeah damn those filthy health and safety regulations
yeah damn those filthy health and safety regulations
Ah c'mon he was only jokin you muppet!
Hmmm yeah that didn't really work... oh well saw some people I hadn't seen before, which was cool. And revol68 and 3rd_season pulling when they were both pissed was a sight to behold
who'd they pull, each other?
who'd they pull, each other?
Yes!!
That's sweet.
Oh shit I'm sorry I missed this now!!
I suggest another Enrager social after an "anarchist" event, although I can't really think of any and most of you are far too busy being working class in mines or something to come to t'demo 'gainst t'war or t'capitalism(say that bit in a Northern accent).
Yeah was cool meeting people off the boards and saying hi to people who visited the stall etc.
Was a pretty good bookfair....
Apologies to the people we went out with after for my un-socialness... Was feeling like shit!
Some guy on the Freedom stall was really grumpy with me. I was buying some Kropotkin and he complained that "I'll have to go all the way over there *gestures to 10 foot away* now to get some change". Haha.
was very funny meeting jack and GB who had both thought before i was about twenty..
(didn't any of you ever wonder before how i'd managed to get through about fifteen different jobs and two kids in such a short life?)
and yes GB the picture IS of me... i scrub up nice
sorry not to have met revol and wayne though cause i wanted to see if they're both three foot tall with a collective ego the size of a planet and then poke them with sticks (a common form of communication amongst treehugging anarchists, more complex than grunting but not yet sufficently evolved for political debate and that heady pinnacle of political action, workplace organisation).
hope your new jobs still going well jack and thanks for sharing yr beer and smoke.
now all the funs gone out of this board cause i'm outed as old, so i'll go post somewhere else where i can wear headscarfs, handknitted cardis and smell of wee amongst my peergroup
cya
hope your new jobs still going well jack
Well he seems to enjoy it...hahahaha.
sounds way more fun than mine
i'm just jealous
it was good to meet some of you peeps, though i exposed my ageism by being shocked at how young you all are! Fuck me, too bad i missed redyred and other vocal critics, hopefully you guys are a bit older otherwise my class politics have been dissed by people who were about 4 when i had my first strike
ok, ok, i got to get rid of this ageism thing, i know how much it used to piss me off...
But i didn't know that this forum is based on the work of AYN, so you tend to get these ideas in your head about people on the board. for instance i thought jack was some bitter middle aged geezer
he turned out to be a young skate punk student. Anyways, it was nice to meet you mate, and as i imagined, you are allright in real life, it's just on this board you come across as a nasty and discriminating twat
Sorry i couldn't make it to the social, it was a hard choice: spending the time with my friend who i haven't seen for years and a crew of south african anarchist vegans, or meeting bunch of abusive guys who i only know by their username
hope you had a good one though.
Besides, it dawned to me that I've met Wayne already, although very briefly.

Revol pretty much is. It's not often I meet someone my age who's shorter than me.

Don't worry JDMF, I'm only 23 and I feel pretty ancient among most anarchists (and Jack's harem). Yeah, I was looking forward to meeting both of you, but I had to come straight from work and didn't actually get there til about 5. Oh well, maybe next year.

So how old was the oldest person there? Just wondering if anarchists turn into something else when they get near 30...

Logan's Run is excellent! When was the last time you met anyone worth talking to over the age of thirty anyway
i thought jack was some bitter middle aged geezerhe turned out to be a young skate punk student.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...I love you so much just for saying that. A skate punk student is what he is.
I'm pretty sure i have seen jack on a skateboard... and funny it was.
