A Chilean comrade from the anarcho-communist organisation CUAC - recently renamed the OCL - will give a talk on revolutionary struggle in latin america, the development of an anarchist movement at the heart of the popular struggles in that region, and how the tradition of anarchism has adopted a new form in the 21st century

The speaker who is a friend of mine has pretty good English and spent the summer touring anarchist groups and struggles in the region. So there should be lots of first hand info from an area where the anarchist movement is growing rapidly.

I think I met a few people outside with Jack briefly at some point. Hope you all had good times. I finally bought the ((edditted to remove embarrasing reference to punk)), lots of Solfed literature (thread to follow), and plenty of books/pamphlets and free newspapers. I turned down the opportunity to make £50 delivering post to travel to London and spend £60.

Also, the community organising meeting was obviously the best part of the day.

I suggest another Enrager social after an "anarchist" event, although I can't really think of any and most of you are far too busy being working class in mines or something to come to t'demo 'gainst t'war or t'capitalism(say that bit in a Northern accent).

Yeah was cool meeting people off the boards and saying hi to people who visited the stall etc.

Some guy on the Freedom stall was really grumpy with me. I was buying some Kropotkin and he complained that "I'll have to go all the way over there *gestures to 10 foot away* now to get some change". Haha.

sorry not to have met revol and wayne though cause i wanted to see if they're both three foot tall with a collective ego the size of a planet and then poke them with sticks (a common form of communication amongst treehugging anarchists, more complex than grunting but not yet sufficently evolved for political debate and that heady pinnacle of political action, workplace organisation).

it was good to meet some of you peeps, though i exposed my ageism by being shocked at how young you all are! Fuck me, too bad i missed redyred and other vocal critics, hopefully you guys are a bit older otherwise my class politics have been dissed by people who were about 4 when i had my first strike ok, ok, i got to get rid of this ageism thing, i know how much it used to piss me off...
