Job Description: Collective Facilitator, CASA Collective

The CASA Collectives are a solidarity network that supports autonomous community struggles across borders. We are committed to non-hierarchical experiential education and act in direct solidarity with the peoples, communities and organizations of Chiapas. In San Cristóbal de las Casas, we maintain an activist training space that serves as a collective center for knowledge sharing and reflection. Through a continually developing workshop series and collaboration with local organizations and community projects, we seek to support local struggles and link them to diverse global experiences of resistance. In this coming year we will be transitioning to a more collectively run structure in Chiapas as well as seeking increased collaboration with our recently inaugurated partner collective in Oaxaca.

The Collective Facilitator will be responsible for collaborating with other collective members to ensure that collective space and projects are maintained. In addition, the Facilitator will be responsible for accompanying and assisting in the transition to full collective functioning.
