Mute Vol 2 #5 Spring/Summer May '07

It's Not Easy Being Green - The Climate Change Issue is out now online and in print.

This issue of Mute seeks to defuse the ideological bomb of climate change, expose the plundering and non-reproduction of global resources as a problem of capital not mankind per se, and investigate the ends to which the spectre of eco-catastrophe is being used.

Mute is consistently great. One of the finest journals being published atm - looking forward to seeing this one.

Reading it now. The article Capitalist Criminality is awfully written so I couldn't finish it, and then the next one (Act Macro: Technological Alternatives to Green Austerity) is just a paeon to technology from a fairly liberal perspective. I scrolled to the end to find out who the author was and was very unsurprised to discover he is a "regular contributor to Spiked Online".

I'll see what i think about the rest of it....
