We also got pretty close to Gorgeous George this afternoon. He described Brown and Blair as "two cheeks of the same arse" at the rally, I laughed despite myself. Rkn didn't heckle him this time round, that call of "George, you cunt!" a few years back was obviously as much taunting as he could muster. It might not have gone down too well I guess.

I have some really poor quality pictures for the Manchester march on my phone. I'll get them uploaded later/tomorrow for anyone who wants 'em.

(I didn't take my camera and WeTheYouth proved his inadequacy by not telling his mate to bring hers and also not birnging any cake. angry )

that arse comment is pretty funny... I heckled Ken Livingstone once with some London SolFed people; got heckled back in return by Jeremy Corbyn but he was with his kid so couldn't really have a go at him back.

I was at the one in Birmingham but haven't mastered my digital camera yet. We had Dave Prentis (Unison gen sec) speaking at ours, he said all about how they were going to make MPs pay for supporting anti-NHS policies, is he fuck, it's them cunts at the top of Unison who are even blocking a national demonstration for fear of embarassing the government, never mind supporting industrial action which is clearly what is needed.

Leicester Unison managed to mobilise about 200 people (about a quarter of the total out of the whole midlands!) and had been due to speak at the rally but were not allowed because they would've criticised the gov't too much. I had a good chat with some of them though and they seem really good, unlike most branches. Met a Leicester wobbly too, that was cool.
