Article read counts

I wonder if these keep going up, or if they just count the number of reads in say 4 months, cos i remember some old stats thing in drupal only counted 16 weeks.

So for a test, here are some popular articles and their counts today, for me to check back in a couple of weeks:
sex text -4338 reads
bolsheviks - 2586
mexico - 1914

These seem to be different depending if u are logged in or not.

Like on the bus drivers article ijust posted to news :s

hmmm, bus one is just 1 less. sext text the same...
