New thread for subbing to let people know what changes were made to their articles and why, to help everyone get a feel for the content guidelines for the site.
i also added pics to loads of stories. please try to do so for all stories - it only takes a second and really makes a big difference.
Just google image search a related pic not from BBC/CNN/AP/etc., save it to your PC and click Browse to find it then Upload to attach it.
WTY, cheers for the article, i've added in Poland and postal service tags and some links to previous libcom coverage (and decapitalised posties in the title, pedant that i am).
the english needs fixing too, i'll try if i have time but might not till tonight
i've heavily edited it to make the english legible and remove first-person etc
The ESOL Tower Hamlets article; tag was changed from 'education & learning' to 'schools' - even though it's actually a college - any particular reason? 'Education & learning' is one of the listed tags - is it now obsolete?
I changed it back.
I don't know who did that, it wasn't me.
Joseph, I edited your miners strike intro. The first text of the intro should always be "articles about x", then an explanation of what x is.
Also, the key articles section should just have one link to a good introductory text, then maybe one to a more detailed, book length text, then maybe a further reading guide.
So I deleted a couple of the ones you put in (for example, reading the article about the gay and lesbian support groups is not essential for a basic understanding of the miners strike etc)
Ok cool.

put that down as subconscious fallout from blackvaginagate
I just put up the CW text by Julian you'd requested, in History. Then tried to put a link to it in the 'Paper Tiger' CW text and and that article has no 'Edit' to click on to do so?
It might be an input formats issue, will take a look.
Also, if you click on the 'Class War' tag on that article it takes you to a page with only that article - not to the page with all the other articles with that tag?
With that one you want to tag it from the 'Authors People and Grouips' vocabulary, not the 'Tags' vocabulary.
Done. Stupid me.
