Image background problems

right i think i know why the images in the blockade organising piece are messed up now. It seems like the thumbnailing and resizing in the add image and auto-thumbnailing modules put a black background on the image, so if there is transparency it shows up black. Could this be fixed?

see for example test transport intro:
http://libcom.org/news/transportxx

fine in article, but buggered in index:

no i fixed it by killing thumbnail and putting in a pic by HTML.

Also in IE the box doesn't stretch all round the image when it's not auto-done, so the circle graphic overlaps it.

Probably don't need thumbnails for this, but next time can you leave it so I can see what the problem is.

I fixed this by adding a break in. [br /] (but with < instead of [)
