Do folks know much about LabourStart?
It seems like it's a pretty good source of information and seems like it would be useful to share information between sites because they overlap. There's a link on being a volunteer corespondent to their site:

We get a lot of news from them, and they often link to our articles, so there's crossover but nothing formal. I don't know of another site that's better for coverage - they do pretty well against google news even.
On the downside it's specifically union focused - so you get a lot of stuff about unions (i.e.not just about workers in struggle who are also members of unions), and you don't get stuff about struggles which are outside a union framework often. Having said that, although I might not agree with the focus itself, the fact it has a strong focus is what makes it so good.
