libcommunity > feedback.

Hmm that story you posted is blank, no content.

It shouldnt have even let you submit it like that, cos its should require content in the body. Also you should only be allowed to submit stories with bbcode not HTML.

yeah it seems like something very odd happened with that one. If you've got a copy on your local pc - please post it up in here and we'll try to work out the problem.

As rkn says, html won't work, but you can use bbcode same as forums for links/bold/italic etc.

Thanks, but sad to say I didn't save a copy. I composed directly into the site.
I'll check out the bbcode

Hmm its showing content now...

Not sure whats going on.

Unless you changed its publish date when you first submitted?

Or maybe you have edited it - catch can registered users do that? edit their own stories in mod queue?

Have taken out the html and published it.

Thanks for submitting stuff David - bbcode is just the buttons above the box you type when posting on the forums. You can use it anywhere on the site.

Basically.... for web address:
[url=Enter URL here]Enter text for URL here[/url]

And the other stuff is just bold, italics, quotes etc.

Theres more than you would ever want to know about it here:

I think this is vaguely related, there's some kind of error on this thread that's led to the "who's online box" extending over pretty much all of the posts. Tags gone badly wrong, maybe? confused

That page is FUCKED in ff. Its looking like the page i posted about only have the first comment viewable for logged out guests.

Theres rounded corners on the explore my account menu bar.

Then the bg for who is online is covering the page and stretching the page way down.

The right coloumn is way at the bottom.

The top bit looks like this for me in firefox, the grey continues right down the page till you get to the bottom of the page.

I'm using FF2 and windows XP as well confused
