in the black bar at the top of the screen, on the far right hand side, to the right of "organise | thought" etc.? it should be a very dark grey box with "search" in it in white text.

If not, yeah you can use http://libcom.org/search

IE6 must be having issues with position absolute so search box is hiding somewhere. I hate IE6 so much.

John. libcom.org/search is broken - it's only switched on so I can try to work out what's wrong with it. Well it's not broken, it just only searches 300 out of 12,000 pages sad - I switched it on for logged in users though so you won't get access denied, but like I said it won't work apart from the first 300 articles that got added to the library in 2005.

october lost - your best bet until we get internal search working is to use google site search - site:libcom.org whateveryouwanttosearchfor

We decided we'd only do minimal maintenance on IE6 because IE7 is rapidly overtaking it, so this is one of those things that might not get fixed. You could ask your work IT to put IE7 on your computer though? Or get portable firefox and use that? Not much more suggestions at the moment to be honest.

The weirdness with thought index I'm aware of - it's another internet explorer issue that will get fixed but not got to yet.
