Hey,

I thought you'd be up for a bit of anarchy! (wink) I'm sure it will all settle down in a few days...

Sorry about the downtime, please see my other thread for a fuller response.

As to what is going on - we have recently been moving all our content to a new server and a new way of managing data. This is throwing up a number of hiccups a long the way which we have to learn to deal with as they arise.

Another thing the new Libcom doesn't have is the facility to mark all posts in a forum as 'read' thus enabling me to ignore every discussion I don't like the look of or can't be arsed with. Will we have that back soon?

Yeah that's on it's way, but a couple of weeks probably.

A quick point. When you click on a link in a post it takes you away from libcom instead of opening in a new window. Can anything be done about this?

Isn't that down to your browser settings?

No. Also this has appeared at the top of the page

// JavaScript Document function m_addLoadEvent(func) { var oldOnload = window.onload; if (typeof window.onload != 'function') { window.onload = func; } else { window.onload = function() { oldOnload(); func(); } } } function m_externalLinks() { if (!document.getElementsByTagName) { return; } var anchors = document.getElementsByTagName("a"); for (var i = 0; i < anchors.length; i++) { var anchor = anchors[i]; var rel = anchor.getAttribute("rel"); if ( anchor.href && anchor.href.length > 0 && ( ( rel && rel.length > 0 && rel.indexOf("blank") >= 0 ) || ( ( !rel || !rel.length || rel.indexOf("self") < 0 ) && anchor.hostname != document.location.hostname ) ) ) { anchor.target = "_blank"; anchor.title = (anchor.title ? anchor.title + " " : "") + "(this link opens in a new window)"; } } } m_addLoadEvent(m_externalLinks);

This problem seems to be back. When I click on a link it takes me away from libcom.

Also when clicking on new post it just goes to the start of the thread.

Yeah I had to disable what rkn did because it was messing with the bbcode buttons (every time you clicked a button it went to a new window). It'll be back eventually.

First post in the thread - we've got a possible solution to that but want to get the site stable first.
