Comments on news articles
No point having these enabled unless we can see them without looking at the article itself. I only ever do it if I'm getting the image for a link or if I need to have a look at it for something new.
If we could have something like for the blogs to signal new comments then that'd be good, otherwise either we won't see comments or we'll end up inflating the number of reads. well I won't cause I can't bothered
We did talk about having a 'start discussion on this article' button, but I seem to remember that that involved a lot of annoying code so it's not too likely, but it could be an idea if it's not too much work.
No I hadn't, that's pretty useful.
Is that kinda what you meant?
Do you not get a tab for it on /tracker ?
That is what I meant. I'd never seen it because I never use the tracker.
Is the 'needing work' tab supposed to be showing?
You never use the tracker? How do you live?
Only you, ret and admins can see 'needing work'., I have a plan about some of those articles but won't be for a few months probably.

I often ask myself that question
I put pics to 2 'needing work' articles and tidied up a bit of formatting - is that what theyr'e there for? Or what plans do you have for them, catch?

Nah, that's about it really. But I want to make it easier for just about anyone to edit them, yet maintain paranoid and dictatorial control at the same time.
That's a healthy compromise. (Don't take that the wrong way...)

Another reason to get that formatting/submissions guide up...
Starting a thread on it now!
