Creating content - Footnotes in library articles

I'm trying to submit an article I wrote (on the detention of CNT members in the USSR after the Spanish Civil War) to the Libcom library, and I lose my footnotes when I paste into the form. Am I a fucktard? Can someone hold my hand or do it for me? Thanks.

Cheers catch. I have tried again and think I've managed now. And yes, in answer to my own question, I am a fuckwit.
How are your footnotes done? Are they using the <fn> filter, or just plain text, or got links in them?
In what way do they get lost? In the form textarea itself or after you submit?
