I think it would be great - if i t was part of our digg/delicious bookmarking module that would be ideal - is there a newer version maybe?

John - how does the sharing work? Can you find api docs then we could look into extending the links module to include it.
Talking of facebook, a libcom app (just the logo, a link and latest feeds) would be ace.I tried to look into it, but it's a little beyond me, altho doesn't look impossible.
If you post up spec here I'll have a look. I've managed to avoid setting up a facebook account entirely so far, and intend to keep doing so for a while yet. Does libcom have a profile or anything I could lurk with?
Also I want to set up netvibes apps or channels or whatever they are, 'cos I want my own netvibes account without having to duplicate libcom's.
Also we'll have OpenID next upgrade -which means people will be able to use their facebook accounts to sign in to here. Don't ask me how it works in practice, I've got no idea.

it takes you to "post a link to your profile" with a comment. libcom has a login but we haven't really used it, rkn set it up.
api docs?
Forget api docs, looks pretty simple. For reference with something like the apps - most sites now have basic information for developers to make plugins or whatever - like Firefox does.
As I read - I think we can just switch facebook on in that module anyway now.
yep: admin/settings/servicelinks
should switch the shit ones off as well. Doit!
oh great, they musta upgraded it without me noticing
i don't think it's worth deleting any, is it? some people might use them!
i added the technorati search one as well but dunno if it's worth it...

Bit ugly. Overkill. Not a big deal though.

They can always ask. Or you could do a poll

We could try it, technorati is quite clever software, dunno how that search link works though.
it searches for links to the article on technorati. e.g.
http://technorati.com/cosmos/search.html?url=http%3A%2F%2Flibcom.org%2Fthought%2Fsituationists-an-introduction
i don't think they're ugly. but it's be cool if they were half faded, like here:

Cool enough. Reminds me I need to fix technorati pinging - we never update on there.

Should be easy. Probably try later on.
you could even add in a user's tracker feed couldn't you, theoretically?
