footnotes

I've removed them from the standard input format because they generate html, which gets filtered by the standard input format .

Anyone who has an option for "input format" needs to change it to at least "some html allowed" in order to enter footnotes.

On a side note, if you entered an article and later find that you can't edit it, it's probably because an admin went in and changed the input format to one you can't use - if that happens post in here or elsewhere and let us know (assuming you want to make an edit, otherwise ignore this).
