Footnotes help

This is a bit thick but how do you place footnotes on articles? And while I'm here, how can I seperate books into seperate chapters and that?

it's done with html, so in the main text where you want the little superscript number to appear, put <fn>Your footnote text</fn> and it will generate the numbers automatically and put the text at the end. The input format will also need to be set to 'normal (some html allowed)'.
