Can we add this site?
http://communisme.wordpress.com/
I've lifted stories from there in the past and the guy is pretty much in agreement with our aims and objctives. I've not looked at it for a while but there is some really good stuff on there at the moment, the writer is really back on form.
If you need a blurb for it.
Solidarité Ouvrière: this is a french language news website aimed at publicising workers' struggles worldwide.
A translation of the site's own blurb:
"While every day we see the the rality of capitalist barbarism this site aims to follow the news from the point of view of the working class. Basically capitalism can offer us nothing but ever-increasing wars, chaos, poverty and atrocies. We believe that only workers' organisation can offer an alternative future to humanity."
I thought that there was a links page.
Well I thought of it because I got an email of the guy today, there are loads of stories worth nicking off his blog (at least 5 good ones in the last 24 hours)
If there is I can't remember where
http://libcom.org/notes/links is all I can see.
There used to be a links page for sure, remember the whole wombles controversy
you left us off your page
you left us off yours
we've disbanded
then why would you want a link
who said we did
you did
no we didn't
then what were you complaining about?
stop acting like law students
lifestylists
hairstylists
etc etc
Ok yeah that was the Britain/listings section which we never transferred to drupal - was unwieldy, out of date etc. etc.
Long term plan has been to replace links with delicious but no-one uses it. Events are now in forums.
Have you tried the linksdb module?
It's not very advanced, but it lets users suggest new links and report old links as dead, and is probably better than using delicious.

jef we don't have a links page. We're not completely against one, but just don't have an easy way to keep one updated yet.
I think our best bet would be to use the libcom delicious account, then we can pull bookmarks down to a block/page on here very easily. No one's used it for ages but we could resurrect it and maybe give a communal password to a few sensible people if they're interested in maintaining?
