Why isn't there a housing/rent/landlords/something like that section or subsections to classify news items in the news (not forums) section?

Er, well when you click on create content -> news, there is no housing option in the categories options.

Ahh, that's a different issue. Anyone can post news items, and nearly everyone puts really stupid tags in news items which we then have to clear out manually from the database. So the tagging bit is restricted to people who post stuff regularly until there's a way to sort this out. I've thought of a way to clear empty bad tags out automatically, but it'll take a while to get working. It's a bit lame, but it's better than hunting through a list 2,000+ tags trying to find bad ones.

yeah the editors will add a housing tag for you.

i notice a few bad tags on the egypt article too sad

also could we have a link to the news tags indexy page, like we have on history?
