Not sure if this is the best way to do this, but I have a favour to ask of Libcom

The Midlands Discussion Forum is having a meeting on April 25th (notice is here ) to which a number of groups have been invited. To try and make it easier for all the groups to distribute their material, we'd like to ask Libcom if we can post texts here. All the groups we've invited already have a presence on Libcom, bar two (neither of which has yet confirmed it's coming or provided any material as yet).

If that's agreeable, what would be the best forum to post the texts in?

Thanks either way,

Slothjabber for the MDF

If they are decent texts, you could post them in our library. You could then start a discussion in theory Forum to link to them if you like. Alternatively just paste up all the texts in a thread in the theory Forum

OK, thanks. I think the best way to do it may be to start the thread(s) in the Theory forum. Then maybe the (half a dozen?) texts can be put in the Library if it's thought necessary?

Yes that sounds fine.

I want to post a solidarity appeal -- in this case in defense of the Novosibirsk artist Artem Loskutov (currently in pre-trial custody on a fabricated drugs charge) and in support of anarchist artists who are on a hunger strike in Petersburg. (They are doing this in solidarity with Loskutov, but they're also protesting the illegal dispersal by riot police of an anarchist "pirate street party" on May Day this year.)

More details here:

However, since I've never posted on your site before, I'd like to know whether you publish such appeals and, if yes, what section of the site I should submit them to.

Thanks
