me too, also no luck.
As a by-product I got rid of some more garbage characters in the database.
Probably best to copy and paste into a new node - then change the alias on the old one (so we can keep for reference) and swap it to the new one. If that doesn't work something very weird going on. thought it might be caching, but I cleared filter cache and it didn't help.
