Sorry if this has been done before... On the old forums you could have a pop up or something to tell you when you had a new message, but not here andthat would be useful.  Also, there's no outbox so you can't tell if yr message has been read by the recipient...

In your account settings you can set it to send you an e-mail at the end of the day if you've got unread messages. i hated the popup wink that'll be difficult though - but it does tell you next to "my inbox" if you've got new messages. outbox I think is a long way off as well :(

Speaking of messages, in my Inbox it has two identical copies of every message for some reason.

Ones from the old forum. btw sorry about the massive image thread. You may have to restart your browser if you visit it.

I can't reply to it, what did you do? Was it on purpose?

1) You can reply by disabling images in your browser and reloading the thread.2) I created about 10 image references with a width and height of roughly 6 million pixels each.3) Yes.

that's a relief. We spent many hours learning the finer points of converting mysql databases from latin1 with lots of non-standard characters to utf8 so we could run the import script to get them into here. We got a couple of minor errors during the import which may account for your duplicates (and my missing ones),

It doesn't really matter to me. Just thought I should point it out in case it bothers someone else. Btw I miscalculated: it's more like 60 million pixels wide and high. I disabled the HTML so it's safe to view again
