i've had an awful time logging in, waiting for pages to turn, etc. for about the last 4 days. am i being made a non-person?

Yeah it's been on and off for me, very slow page load time. It's defo just libcom cos all others sites are fine.

Yeah, we've had some problems with the site slowing down, particularly when content is being edited. We are working on it! Please bear with us, apologies for any delays.

My main tracker has now been frozen at the same state for at least an hour. That is, it shows exactly the same number of posts/new posts. The forum tracker seems fine.

same here, though when i go to the threads listed on the tracker the numbers (of total posts, of new posts) are right, just not on the tracker page itself

Yeah, everything's okay both in the threads themselves and in /tracker/forums, just not in /tracker.

I just edited an article and it did it almost instantly! That hasn't happened in ages, so if you've done something, maybe it's worked!

OK I think I have the caching on the tracker figured out. Brand new posts will take up to five minutes to show up, really posts which have been bumped will take up to five minutes to show up, new comments on posts already in the tracker should show up instantly.
If you notice any weirdness beyond the above, please let us know. If the above turns out to be really annoying, also please say so. However it should load <em>much</em> faster now, and also take a bit of stress off the site in general.

by 'post' do you mean 'thread', and by 'comment' do you mean 'post'?
