I've made a slight change to the login system - there's now a 'remember me' checkbox which you'll need to tick to stay logged in on your PC. If you don't check it, then you'll get logged out when you close your browser session. Obviously don't use the checkbox if you're using a shared computer.

Next time you close your browser you'll probably get logged out automatically - then it'll take effect from then onwards - but I'm not 100% on that.

I'm still logged in after shuting down firefox, might be the comp needs shutting down. Or could be because I've got an old cookie on my compiter it'll stay logged in.

Thanks Jef, yeah it's quite possible that it won't kick in until you actually log out, not a big deal but good to know.
@petey - yeah that'll likely come back at some point, but not for a little while.

We could do that, but it's a lot of space used up with the default block that comes with Drupal. I could maybe try to make a prettier/smaller version and put that somewhere - maybe where the login link is now?
