Tom's reviews thread
Hi tom, many thanks for all your submissions!
There are just a couple things that need to be done in future to make your contributions formatted the same as all other content. We'll edit the stuff you've done so far, if you could bear this in mind for the future that'd be great.
okay:
- For the title, instead of "by tom jennings" please put "... Film review - Tom Jennings"
- Please find a picture related to your article - a film poster, or book cover for example, using google, save it to your hard drive then upload it to the article
- put in your name as author but don't put "tom-jennings" as a tag. in tags, please put "reviews" then if it's a film, "film" or if it's music, "music". multiple tags separated by commas.
- in "introduction" please don't repeat the title again, put in the teaser you wrote, like Its writer/director wanted Mischief Night to be ‘a very silly film about very serious issues’. Tom Jennings judges it spot on.
- then in the body put your article title, e.g. A Midautumn Night’s Dream by Tom Jennings, at the top, then the article body below, with 1 line break in between.
- Please put publishing info at the bottom of the article in italics, Film review published in Freedom, Vol. 67, No. 23, December 2006
- please put your further links header in italics too
for an example of a finished article i've edited, see here:

any questions or issues about your reviews ask here
Cheers!
Could Tom be given a blog?
tom, thanks for all these.
Some are showing up as blank when you view them, this is a bug somewhere with us. If everyone could leave the blank ones when moderating it's a good chance to track it down.
yes many thanks!
we should back date a bunch/most of them by a month or two sothey don't clog every latest feed though
could they be edited so his name isn't in the title, the intro, with a by tom.., plus a tag plus the fact it has his name on the submision as well. Drives me nuts.

Is that an offer?
This is why we need a full submissions style guide.
John. I tink I'm going to get nodequeue going so we can stick stuff in certain feeds by choice rather than worry about dates so much.
just added a few pretty arbitrarily before i saw this thread..

- also please don't select the region UK unless it's about an event in the UK. for example a book about the miners strike.
