CPE blog migration
Am still moving over CPE blog to v4. Working backwards from end, now up to top page 12.
All CPE blog stuff being put here:
http://libcom.org/tags/cpe
p10
half p9 done.
anyone spots any mistakes or things missing lemme know. i know lots of pics aren't working yet.
So working through this backwards is cool cos I get to read the coverage from the start in order. During the CPE stuff I didn't have time to read it all, so I'm doing that now. And fuck me it's good. I'd forgotten just how good the blog was. I mean one day i'm moving articles over, there was an article every few minutes! it just all seems really exciting the way you can see all the demos + occupations get bigger and bigger, see the police step up their repression but things keep escalating...
A jolly good read! (just shame all the pics aren't working yet, but give catch a few days...)
bold text not working here for some reason :?
http://libcom.org/news/why-i-am-rioting-19032006
test
oh test didn't work, looks like bold text gone everywhere :?
top p8
done p7, except NB interview.
doing p5 now...
catch was the aim to set up a URL for a blog index yeah? think we should have cpe-france in URL somewhere. either in blog index or CPE tag index.
how about
tags/cpe -> blog/cpe
blog index -> blog/cpe-france
then we "rename" the blog from libcom.org unrest in france blog to libcom.org CPE France blog?
part p4
the tags and the blog index were going to be the same thing - will be same content anyway.
hmm... what do you reckon url-wise then? (all article urls are now news/ ones, tho old blog ones still work). be nice to keep URL short like blog/cpe but other prob better for google...
top p3 - nearly done!!
reminder - get pages for each correspondent with names + links to each article. ask correspondents for more info like picture etc. to put on pages.
I thought /blog/cpe or even /blog/france
/blog/cpe-france is fine though.
All the links go to libcom.org/blog - so we need to have a block or something in the top middle linking to the thing itself. It'd be easy to override the blog index with a view - then add a header to the view. Or just do a side block with a link.
on last page, v nearly done

p11 done
