Got to fill out housing application form now mate! wink

admin >> content types

new content type

add fields (all of them).

Then get with two tabs open:

go to content types >> templates

open up the news one. Copy everything from both boxes from the news template into the thought template.

Then admin >> acess control - give roles permission to post/edit

admin >> settings >> content - disable comments and promoted to front page.

That's about it.

http://libcom.org/everyday-manifesto

i've also tried repeatedly to change that URL to have thought/ in it but it's having none of it.

alright I can get the links to show, but not without everything else there as well at the same time, which'll mess with thumbnails.

Might take a while.

when you say a while, you mean enough time that for now we rethink the book format?

Until this gets answered: http://drupal.org/node/88263

I can think of a workaround which'll work fine, but is a bit hacky ,if we can't do it properly. It'll look exactly the same though I think.

It's a presentation issue, not a content one. So it's not a problem to add everything in, then one of the two possibilities should work fine, and we can always do the hack first then change to proper theming later.

edit: links and stuff now displayed: http://libcom.org/everyday-manifesto

just have to hide the two headers and it'll work for now. That alright?

No. But you can copy the template in admin >> content >> templates from thought to organise and it'll be fine.
