IWA-Plenary in Modena November 23...Italy

I am wondering if anyone was at the Plenary and cares to give a report, fill in the banks?

There's a report here: http://www.zsp.net.pl/report-back-usi-ait-centenary-and-iwa-plenary

I think that between the both reports, it says most of it. I was there so I can say.

We had a lot of organizational issues - I mean like functional issues and there were some longer discussions. I think the discussions went well because we saw that many sections had some common approach. Some actions were set for next year and we discussed some issues that will be dealt with at the next Congress.

Things went more smoothly than usual. We think that this is the result of better organization.

Part of the time also was dedicated to a demonstration related to the USI Centenary and then a party and concert. Personally I liked the demonstration, with comrades singing and nice speeches. I think I must have gained a few kilos cause they had comrades making really, really good food. Quite nice. They had their own USI wine there too.

Anyway, a number of good things are planned resulting from the Plenary. As I said, some of them are purely organizational, but will surely just make internal functioning smoother. The biggest problem to any IWA Plenary I see now are the few types who talk too fast and too much without breaks and nobody can translate them, but a lot has been done to improve things like the flow of meetings, etc. I can notice a difference and, as I said, think that things are just running more smoothly.
