There are tonnes of threads on libcom discussing the Spanish and Russian revolutions but never the German Revolution. Does anyone have an opinion of why the German Revolution failed? It seems that the biggest problems were, poorly coordinated uprisings which were isolated and crushed by the state, and , the voting in of the SDP to the councils who were openly counter revolutionary, which suggests the majority of workers didn't even want socialism

Good question. Are there any libertarian socialist books on the subject. The only book I seem to come across is the Chris Harman one and I'm finding that a real chore.
