Police causing trouble during the royal wedding.
i'd just like to extend my thanks to the force for intervening so swiftly in that dangerous anarchist dancing situation. that bobbing up and down was clearly criminal in nature.
that looked bloody horrible, I got no speakers, what is he singing?
'We all live in a fascist regime, a fascist regime' - Using the yellow submarine tune. Don't really agree with the lyrics but anyway....
ooooooh right, I heard about this yesterday. I don't agree with the lyrics either, the left have a tendency to label anything they don't like fascism. If we really were living under a fascist regime, I would be getting a rowing boat and setting sail somewhere far far away (I'm not saying we don't live under oppressive conditions, I just think we need to use something other than fascism for everything we don't like).
On the other hand, to sing we live in a fascism regime then get bundled into the back of a police van by plain clothes officers supported by like 30 cops, really doesn't look good does it?
"We all live in a crisis-ridden neoliberal form of bourgeois democracy" doesn't quite scan to the tune of "Yellow Submarine".
Account of arrests of 10 activists outside Charing Cross station;

They were on their way to the Republic street party and were not demonstrating when arrested.
the cop in purple looks, and acts, like Vic Mackey.

If you notice it was the plainclothes police and the arrest which gives the clip some relevance
Only on Libcom will someone critique a song lyric.....

You mean that bit, raw?
Recognise the cop in the video thumbnail, FIT from backintheday, no?
"He had items to cause criminal damage"
"What were the items?"
"That's to be investigated" (Read = "That's to be made up later")
yeah Sgt Zaffer Murghal -- complete twat
That's the name! Thanks. And yes, twat, nasty horrible twat.
I can't help it man, I get so sick of the word fascism sometimes! We need a new word!....but alas I admit, I am but a small man and am unable to think of the word to properly take its place.....

what cops aren't though. even the 'friendly' and 'fair' ones are just as bad but through other means.
ACAB has a lot of truth to it
Wow. I would have thought they were skinheads or something. Given the general reaction would be to start swinging whatever comes to hand if you were attacked, it's a wonder that no-one was seriously hurt.
BTW, when your state starts snatching people off the street to prevent vague crimes that would not hurt anyone even if they were acted out, something has gone very wrong.
