Anyone see it? I know that David Strathairn played the labor-sympathetic deputy in Matewan, but this seems like it could be bad with all it's talk of "terrorism." DUNNO!

Looks interesting. Although the movie was made in 2012 wikipedia claims it will be released Spring 2014 (so probably should be out on torrent anytime now). The (same) trailer on imdb and youtube notes it is "based on true events" and has scenes depicting the arrest, trial and execution of Sacco and Vanzetti (as the basis of the films story) - full cast credits include Luigi Galleani, Emma Goldman, 'IWW Secretary' and the trailer has a few discussions in it about the IWW (flashing a Wobbly union card).
There have always been a minority on our periphery - that glorify violence instead of understanding the class foundation of anarchism and social revolution.
Since the 1971 Giuliano Montaldo film Sacco and Vanzetti which was prompted by protests against state and police anti-anarchist agression. On the only occasion that film was shown on TV in Britain in 1979 the BBC redubbed the publically shown version to change Vanzetti's final court speech instead of him saying "I am an anarchist. I would rather die than live in a world without freedom and inequality" they changed "I am an anarchist" to "I am a radical" (which is used in the trailer).
In my opinion, the shift of focus from the historical theme of Montaldo's Miscarriage of Justice towards targetting the alleged connection Galleani had to "terrorists" is a very serious problem, if not a full departure from showing sympathy to working class struggle. We'll see...
Prima facie, it looks iffy as fuck.
Fucksake.
He becomes immersed in an investigation that uncovers an anarchist plot to destroy democracy
