Rudolf Rocker's Nationalism and Culture, does anyone know where I could get it? pdf maybe? or the actual book?
Ah yes thanks for that Toms, but I should have mentioned that I already know that copy is in existence. It is just a bit of a pain in the ass that it is in HTML format!
Ups, didn't know. There is a version of that link I gave you in .txt
http://www.anarchyisorder.org/CD%234/TXT-versions/Rocker%20Rudolf%20-%20Nationalism%20and%20Culture%20(partly_%20no%20lay-out).txt
(because of the parentheses in the link the url option doesn't select the whole thing, you'll have to copy and paste the whole url to reach the file)
It's not exactly the best format, but it's the only other link that I'm aware of.
If someone could post that up into our library as well that would be great!
I can try to do that, but since I never posted entire books it probably won't look very good
the actual book:

I can try to do that, but since I never posted entire books it probably won't look very good
we would really appreciate it - and don't worry if there are any problems an admin can fix them!
Ok, I'll try to do it before the end of next week
Cheers sabot! I thought it were totally out of print!
Hey, with me moving to Pamplona I haven't had time to post the book yet but I haven't forgot about it and will try to do it when I have enough free time.
Cheers sabot! I thought it were totally out of print!
Yeah, I thought it was out of print too. What I find interesting is the only group I know of that's actually printing this, at least in english, is some voluntaryist lunatics out of Minnesota.
If the MN distributor of the book is Michael E. Coughlin, he published "Nationalism...." and, as I recall, has always been an indivualist.
True enough, Coughlins is the main guy apparently but there are others involved with it and from what I gather they’re a mixed bag. This is all hearsay though and should have mentioned it above. My main point though was publishers like Dover, Freedom, Penguin, etc. aren’t in a big hurry to put out arguably one of the great libertarian text.
Also, did they really have to use a big tacky Nazi symbol for the cover? I mean really…
Does Coughlin have some form of copyright on the pubnlication or something legal barring others from publishing?
Yeah, there's a copyright from back in 1978. Lol, so apparently in the back of the book it states the place where they printed it at burned down on the 4th of july that year and limited copies are available in this edition. So who knows who owns it now if they haven't printed any copies in 3 decades.
Unless they have rights gifted by Rocker no there's no copyright.
Duh.... this book was reprinted in 1997 by Black Rose Books (Canada). I guess anyone can reprint the original version then.
I hope this works, but here's the cover of the 1947 version: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/FrameBase?content=/en/imagegallery/imagegallery.shtml?images=http://pictures.abebooks.com/KLINEBOOKS/4708940257.jpg
